blend in brendan.

My name is Brendan, I blend in, To every wall, to everything. My skin will change its shapes and hue, To fit the stuff I’m stood next to. And the things I’m stood behind, Or in front of! Or combined! At home, at school or Grandma’s house, I’m part of chairs or Grandma’s blouse. I’m part of tables, part of ceilings Part of paint on doors unpeeling! To you I’m sure it sounds like bliss, To have a talent such as this, But let me ask you while you’re here, Why you’d want to disappear? It’s not what it’s cracked up to be, I tell you, since my infancy, That all it brings is harsh despair, When no one sees you standing there. -Written by Chester Travis
